ARTIST STATEMENT

My artwork explores the expectations of the chaotic patriarchal society, as well as the manipulation undergone by the powerful woman. Involving truth and reality, the messy recreations of the female vulva deconstructs previous connotations surrounding femininity. Using different media, in an attempt to redefine the common standards of beauty. The illusionistic orifices resemble that of yonic design, proving that the impact of the woman is in everything whether you want to acknowledge it or not.
